Facebook celebrates 6th birthday with a new homepage

When Google turned ten years old, their homepage displayed a logo that speaks of a birthday party – a CPU wearing a red ribbon ;)
Today, Facebook turned six years old and just recently settled a lawsuit that alleged privacy violations. Their homepage displayed new changes (again). But this time, it’s not that painful to relearn Facebook. Way back then, everytime Facebook changes layout, users are taken aback by new changes such as  features transferred to the sidebar, News Feeds transferred to another page, and Fan Pages set not broadcast on the user’s homepage. This time, it’s improved on a positive side.
  • The View My Profile is back on the sidebar since we all want to view our own profiles everytime (ahem, ahem).
  • The Online Friends, Notifications, Inbox are on the sidebar.
So thanks Facebook. You have definitely changed how people now communicate. I found my friends and relatives whom I have lost contact with. So, happy birthday and hope all the information [and pictures] we share with you are safe, hehe. Or better yet, be safe. Happy Birthday!
